Henderson County, Tennessee Poll Officials are the best in the state and are dedicated to the election process and help Henderson County voters have a positive voting experience. On Election Day they work at the 12 different polling places throughout the county.

On Election Day, the polls are open from 8:00am until 7:00pm.

Some Poll Officials also work at the Election Office in Lexington for the Early Voting two-week period. Early Voting runs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Fridays 9:00am until 4:00pm, Thursdays 9:00am until 6:00pm, and Saturdays 9:00 until 12:00. Workers report in 30 minutes early and stay approx. 30 minutes later. All Poll Officials are required to attend an approximate hour long “School of Instruction” prior to each Election Period. The Election Administrator will set the date for each election’s school. Elections could not happen without the citizens of Henderson County who serve, and staff polling locations and ensure ballots are issued, cast & counted in a fair, secure, and efficient manner.
