Henderson County has much to offer with its seven beautiful lakes, acres of rich farmland, and it has the state's largest state park, Natchez Trace State Park. Duties of the County Mayor:
  • Assuring that all County services are delivered to the citizens of Henderson County in an effective, efficient, and equitable manner and in compliances with County Commission policy
  • Overseeing long-range planning and improvement of departmental management and service delivery
  • Serving as a catalyst for developing community-wide goals and mobilizing the resources to attain them
  • Serving as the primary outreach arm of the County government to other counties and other government entities
