Carolyn Holmes, County Clerk

As an elected official, the County Clerk and staff are responsible for the preparation, execution, and archiving of all county records documents as prescribed by State law and County Code.

County Clerk Duties Include:
  • Archiving County Commission Documents, Official Proceedings, Ordinances, and Resolutions
  • Administering Business Licenses
  • Administering Department of Motor Vehicle Tags
  • Administering Boat Licenses
  • Administering Marriage Licenses
  • Administering Hunting and Fishing Licenses
  • Administering Notary Public Applications
  • Providing Notary Public Services
  • Administering Special Events Permits
  • Renewing/Replacing Drivers Licenses
  • Providing Picture Identifications for Voting Purposes

The County Clerk's Office is also responsible for public records and other information, including all resolutions and ordinances that are adopted by the County Commission.
